I turn expertise into practical AI skills: guided experiences that help people research, make decisions, develop their contribution, and put human judgment to purposeful use.
The collection spans marketing and strategic work, personal branding, leadership development, and human–AI collaboration. Each track connects a larger purpose to the skills that support it.
AI skills are offered as bundled components with a workshop. Request an AI skill demo.
Connected systems that carry an idea from research and positioning into evidence, content, and a finished experience.
Select any AI skill to read its description. Every skill is listed below.
Research workflow + connected evidence library
Turn research and observations into a distinctive, defensible point of view. A connected workflow keeps the argument, its evidence, and its editorial development together.
3 AI skillsCapture useful observations, quotations, research, and source context in a structured insight library. Distinguish a claim from supporting evidence, background context, a concept seed, or a story. That separation makes it easier to find the right material when developing a point of view.
Begin with a clear claim, gather the evidence that supports it, and explain why it matters to the intended audience. Related insights can become an article concept with a specific hook, a defined content pillar, and a suitable format. Human judgment determines which argument is worth developing.
Link article concepts and drafts to the source insights behind them. Track the hook, argument, format, content pillar, development status, publication destination, and published URL. The result is a reusable evidence base and editorial record that supports a coherent thought leadership program.
Research system
Connect business outcomes to the strategic moves and executive judgments that shape them. For marketing leaders, the approach helps distinguish a consequential decision from the research and execution that support it.
3 AI skillsDefine a bounded enterprise outcome, then identify the distinct strategic moves that could produce it. Keep the purpose of each move clear, and separate the intended outcome from a broad activity or functional label.
Research the determinations an accountable leader must make under uncertainty: what to prioritize, how to allocate resources, which tradeoffs to accept, and when to act. Link candidate judgments to credible sources, identify owners and advisors, and distinguish source evidence from interpretation.
Examine where contextual judgment and accountability must remain human, where AI can improve evidence gathering or analysis, and where it could distort a decision through incomplete context or false precision. Scores remain provisional until calibration and practitioner validation.
Make the quality of human–AI collaboration visible. These skills help individuals and teams examine where people add judgment and how AI supports the work.
2 AI skillsMaps where human judgment matters most in a workflow and where AI can accelerate the work. A Quick Pulse examines one brief task; a Deep Pulse builds a stage-by-stage partnership map for a longer process. Outputs identify Human Leverage Peaks, AI Acceleration Valleys, Watch Points, and practical guidance on what to protect, accelerate, and watch.
When someone hands you a deck, a plan, or a piece of research and says "AI helped with this," what do you actually know? You know the output. You don't know whether it was rigorously challenged, quietly rubber-stamped, or built almost entirely on autopilot with no one steering. That gap is only going to matter more as more of our teams' work runs through AI.
I built a skill that closes it: the Human-AI Collaboration Report.
What it does: point it at a conversation, and it produces an expandable HTML report tracing exactly how the work unfolded — what the AI did at each step, where it paused for direction, and how the human actually engaged. Not just "did they approve it," but how: did they answer a question, redirect the whole approach, challenge and correct the output, hand a decision back to the AI, or add information only they could know? Each moment gets tagged, with a one-line summary up top and full detail one click away.
Why it's useful to you:
If you're doing the work — it's a genuine mirror. I tested it on my own conversations and caught patterns I didn't know I had: where I added real judgment and value, where I let AI do the work, and where I might need to refine the output.
If you manage people who use AI — it's the fastest way to see the rigor behind a deliverable without re-doing the work yourself. It flags the moments that matter most: when a user added meaningful value in the process, when output was accepted with zero scrutiny (not always bad, but important to note), and when an AI made judgment calls on its own without surfacing them. ❗As a manager, I wouldn’t accept a document or deliverable without this report.
If you're building AI literacy on a team — it makes "good AI collaboration" concrete instead of vague. You can see and learn how where to probe and pressure-test an AI's reasoning.
Design the partnership around the work itself. Map a workflow, identify the moments that require human judgment, and define where AI can contribute with appropriate review.
6 AI skillsMost people carry their workflows in their heads — compressed, informal, and never quite on paper. You know what you do. But when you try to describe it step by step, you often discover that the picture is less complete than you thought.
That's exactly where this session starts.
What this session produces
By the end of your conversation with the Workflow Mapper AI skill, you'll have a Workflow Capture Document: a clean, structured map of a workflow you own — the steps in order, the context around it, and an initial flag on any steps that feel particularly high-stakes or hard to hand off.
This document is the foundation for everything that follows. Every other session in the track builds on it. The cleaner and more complete it is, the richer your analysis will be.
Not all work is the same kind of work. This is where you find out which kind each step is.
The Human-AI Partnership Pulse maps any knowledge workflow into four distinct work zones. The core insight is simple but easy to miss: a workflow isn't uniformly human work or uniformly AI work. It's a sequence of steps, and each step has a different character. Some require your judgment and presence at every execution. Others are structured enough that AI can run them reliably — if it's set up correctly and someone's keeping an eye on it.
The four work zones:
Human-Owned — This step requires human judgment, context, relationship, or accountability that can't be handed off. Even if AI could produce something that looks like the output, the human isn't just reviewing — they're doing the actual work. The judgment, the relationship, or the accountability lives with the person.
AI-Assisted Human — The human leads and directs. AI accelerates, drafts, or expands options. The human evaluates everything AI produces and decides what moves forward. The human's judgment is active throughout; AI is a tool in their hands, not a co-pilot.
Human Oversight of AI — AI executes the primary work at this step. The human reviews, validates, redirects if needed, and owns the final output. The human isn't doing the work — they're overseeing it, specifically to catch what AI gets wrong.
AI-Owned — Structured, repeatable work that AI can execute end-to-end. The human sets it up and spot-checks, but doesn't need to be involved in each instance. Errors at this step are either low-stakes or easy to detect before they reach anyone.
A note on honest classification
The most common mistake in this exercise is classifying steps as Human-Owned because they feel important, or as AI-Owned because they're time-consuming. Zone classification isn't about effort or stakes — it's about the nature of the work. A step can be high-stakes and AI-Assisted. A step can feel familiar and comfortable and still be genuinely Human-Owned.
The AI skill will ask questions that help you see each step clearly. Let the questions do their job.
Critical human judgment doesn't spread evenly across a workflow.
It concentrates — and those moments are the ones worth protecting.
The Human-AI Partnership Pulse is built around a core observation: in any knowledge workflow, human judgment peaks at specific moments and drops off between them. Those peaks — the cluster peaks — are where distortion risk is highest, where errors become invisible, and where the human presence in the work is most irreplaceable.
In this session, you'll identify where those peaks appear in your specific workflow. This isn't about deciding which steps are "important." It's about something more precise: finding the moments where the nature of the work makes human involvement non-negotiable — not just preferable.
The three cluster peaks
Cluster 1 — Context & Relationship marks the moment where the goals, stakeholders, and what success actually means in this specific situation get established. This step requires knowledge that can't be written in a brief — knowledge about the person, the relationship, the unspoken priorities. Without a human here, everything downstream optimizes for the wrong target.
Cluster 2 — Accuracy & Accountability marks where technical truth meets ownership. Errors at this step are invisible until they reach someone who notices, and by then the damage is done. The human here isn't just checking quality — they're the person who can detect the gap between what was generated and what was actually needed, and who carries the accountability if it's wrong.
Cluster 3 — Trust & Validation marks the human contact moment — where the experience of being truly seen, served, and valued is the actual output, not just a byproduct of the work. A technically correct result delivered without the human dimension fails here. Correctness is necessary but not sufficient.
Not every workflow has all three clusters in equal measure. Some workflows are heavily weighted toward Cluster 1 — the most consequential work happens in the initial framing and goal-setting. Others have a pronounced Cluster 2 because accuracy and accountability are what's most at stake. Some have all three at significant intensity. You'll find what's actually there.
The four skills that matter most in an AI-shaped workflow — and where yours actually live.
You now have a Zone Map and a Cluster Map. You know which steps in your workflow are Human-Owned, and you've identified where the three non-delegable cluster peaks appear. This session takes the next step: it maps the four core human skills to specific moments in your workflow.
This is not a self-assessment. You won't be rating yourself on these skills or evaluating how well you exercise them. The question is simpler and more specific: where in your workflow is each skill most at play — and where might it be underused or at risk?
The four core human skills
Exercise genuine judgment is the capacity to make a call that no set of instructions and no analysis could fully determine. It draws on experience, pattern recognition, discernment, and contextual understanding. It is active, not reactive — it requires the person to actually decide something, not just to approve what came out of a process.
Build trust and relationships is the ongoing work of creating conditions where others feel genuinely seen, understood, and valued — not just correctly served. This skill is not about being personable. It's about the kind of presence and attention that makes the other person's experience of working with you something they remember and return to.
Define the primary goal is the capacity to establish what the work is actually for — not just what was asked for, but what success really means in this specific situation. Without this skill engaged, everything downstream optimizes against the wrong target.
Make consequential decisions is the willingness and capacity to make choices that have real stakes — choices that ripple outward, are difficult to reverse, or set a direction the rest of the work follows. This skill requires both judgment and accountability in the same moment.
Why this matters
One of the most significant risks in AI-assisted workflows is that these four skills get displaced quietly — not through a deliberate handoff, but through gradual erosion. You stop defining the goal explicitly because the AI suggests one that seems close enough. You stop exercising judgment at a particular step because the output is usually good and reviewing it feels like the same thing as deciding. You stop making decisions explicitly because the process produces an answer that defaults into action.
The Skills Locator is designed to surface that erosion before it becomes invisible.
Not all AI territory is the same. This is where you find out what makes each valley genuinely safe — and where the risks are hiding.
The Human-AI Partnership Pulse identifies two distinct kinds of territory in a knowledge workflow: the cluster peaks, where human judgment is irreplaceable, and the valleys, where AI can accelerate without meaningful risk. You've mapped your peaks. This session maps the valleys.
But "AI territory" isn't a simple binary. A step isn't just safe or unsafe — it's safe under specific conditions, and those conditions are worth knowing. What context does AI need to do this step well? What does a meaningful human review actually look for? What would trigger the need for more human involvement than usual?
This session examines your AI-territory steps with the same rigor the cluster analysis gave your human-owned steps. The goal isn't to maximize the AI side of your workflow. It's to be accurate about what's there — which is the only basis for using it with confidence.
What makes AI territory genuinely safe
Not all AI-assisted work carries equal risk. A step is genuinely safe for AI when the work is consistent enough that the same approach produces reliably useful output across most instances — when errors are either low-stakes or easy to catch before they reach anyone — and when the human reviewing the output has enough subject-matter knowledge to detect meaningful errors, not just surface ones.
A step that fails on any of these criteria warrants more human involvement than its zone label might suggest. This session will surface those cases.
The re-examination question
This session also asks you to look back at your Human-Owned steps with fresh eyes. After seeing your full workflow — the AI territory, the cluster peaks, the human skills — are there any Human-Owned steps where specific component tasks within the step might be AI-legitimate? Not the core judgment at the center of the step, but the preparation, compilation, or formatting work around it?
This is a common and valuable discovery: a step stays Human-Owned, but parts of the work inside it can be accelerated without displacing the judgment that makes it non-delegable.
Five sessions of analysis. One document that makes it usable.
You've done the work. You've mapped your workflow, classified every step, identified your cluster peaks, located your human skills, and examined your AI territory with precision.
This final session brings all of that together into a single, saveable document: your Personal Partnership Pulse.
This is not a summary of the conversations you had across the track. It is a synthesized, structured map of your specific workflow — written clearly enough to share, reference, and return to as your work evolves. You own it. It reflects your analysis, in your workflow, at this moment.
What the Personal Partnership Pulse contains
Your Pulse is organized into five sections:
Section 1 — Your Workflow Map presents the final, complete view of your workflow with every step and its zone classification. At a glance, you can see the overall shape of your work — where it's Human-Owned, where AI assists, where AI runs.
Section 2 — Your Cluster Peaks identifies where each of the three non-delegable clusters appears in your workflow and names precisely what makes those moments irreplaceable. This is the section to return to whenever you feel pressure to hand something off.
Section 3 — Your Human Skills Map shows where each of the four core human skills is most active in your workflow — and surfaces any risk flags or underuse patterns worth staying aware of.
Section 4 — Your AI Territory documents every AI-territory step: what AI handles, what it needs to do it well, what a meaningful spot-check looks like, and any elevated-risk conditions.
Section 5 — Your Partnership Pulse Summary is the plain-language synthesis. Three categories: what to protect, what to accelerate, and what to watch. Specific to your workflow, grounded in everything that came before it.
The HUMAN™ System brings together guided tracks and focused skills for understanding how people create value and developing their contribution.
Understand how you think, decide, sustain energy, and contribute at your best. Six guided skills build toward a practical operating profile, application scenarios, and an AI-ready context summary.
6 AI skillsStep 1: Strength Architecture
Understand how you contribute at your best.
Most professionals know what they’re good at.
Few understand the deeper pattern behind how they create value.
Strength Architecture surfaces the recurring contribution behaviors that show up across roles and environments — how you solve problems, elevate conversations, and strengthen outcomes when you’re operating at your best.
You won’t receive generic labels.
We won’t list your skills.
You’ll uncover structural patterns.
This is the foundation layer.
⏱️ Estimated Time: 15-30 minutes
Plan for focused, uninterrupted reflection.
Map the deeper drivers and meaning patterns that sustain your best work.
Capability explains what you can do.
Motivation explains why you care.
Motivational Blueprint identifies the deeper signals that sustain your engagement — the environments that energize you, the friction that quietly drains you, and the conditions that make your work feel worthwhile.
This isn’t a values checklist.
It’s a clarity map of what actually drives you.
If Strength Architecture showed how you contribute, this module explains why it matters to you.
⏱️ Estimated Time: 15-20 minutes
Plan for focused, uninterrupted reflection.
Map the energy patterns and performance signals that protect your clarity, judgment, and long-term effectiveness.
You can care deeply about your work — and still perform differently depending on how it’s structured.
Energy Mapping identifies when you’re cognitively sharp, when your performance narrows or distorts, and what structural conditions protect your best thinking.
You’ll separate fatigue from misalignment.
Intensity from overload.
Momentum from burnout risk.
This module helps you protect your leverage.
⏱️ Estimated Time: 15-20 minutes
Plan for focused, uninterrupted reflection.
Clarify how you make decisions — and where your judgment is strongest or most vulnerable.
Reputation is shaped by judgment.
Decision Fingerprint maps how you weigh risk, how quickly you move, how you respond to authority, and how pressure shifts your thinking.
You’ll see where your perception is sharpest — and where distortion patterns can quietly creep in.
Most professionals never articulate this layer.
Once you do, your decision-making becomes far more intentional.
⏱️ Estimated Time: 15-20 minutes
Plan for focused, uninterrupted reflection.
Ground your strengths and judgment in real-life — and clarify what growth makes sense now.
Clarity without context can feel overwhelming.
Context Calibration situates everything you’ve uncovered within your current reality — your bandwidth, responsibilities, stability, and growth capacity.
This is where insight becomes usable.
You’ll identify what scale of stretch makes sense now — and what needs protecting.
It’s grounding, stabilizing, and quietly powerful.
⏱️ Estimated Time: 10-15 minutes
Plan for focused, uninterrupted reflection.
Integrate your insights into one clear operating profile — with key takeaways, applied scenarios, and an AI-ready summary.
This is where everything connects.
The Synthesis module integrates your strengths, motivations, energy patterns, decision-making posture, and context into a single coherent Personal Operating Profile.
You’ll see the through-lines.
The highest-leverage patterns.
The risks to protect.
The opportunities to lean into.
You’ll leave with:
• A structured executive summary
• Practical application scenarios

• Clear next steps
This is where clarity becomes leverage.
⏱️ Estimated Time: 5 minutes
You will need your Summary Outputs from each prior step.
Translate self-understanding into a clear expression of the value you create: your motivation, meaningful contribution, audience, and natural leverage.
6 AI skillsThe foundation you’ve already clarified
You’ve already done the work to unearth your traits in the Personal Operating Profile track — exploring the patterns that shape how you think, decide, contribute, and engage with the world.
In HUMAN™ Advantage, we begin by anchoring that clarity.
When we refer to Human Traits in the HUMAN™ framework, we mean the full picture of how you operate. These traits are not limited to strengths or personality labels. They include the patterns that emerged across your Personal Operating Profile exploration, such as:
• your natural strengths
• the motivations that drive your work
• the environments that energize you
• your decision-making patterns
• the life context that shapes your priorities
Together, these patterns form the foundation of how you contribute and where your leverage lives.
You’ve already captured these insights in your Personal Operating Profile Insight Tracker. Now we’ll use that synthesis as the starting point for the HUMAN™ process.
Discover Your Reason
Before we move forward, take a moment to think about times when your work felt especially meaningful.
Maybe you helped someone see their strengths more clearly.
Maybe you improved something that wasn’t working.
Maybe you created clarity where there had been confusion.
Moments like these reveal something important.
They point toward the values and motivations that shape the contribution you care about making.
In the previous step of the HUMAN™ framework, you explored your Human Traits — the natural patterns in how you think, contribute, and operate.
This step looks at something different:
Your Underlying Motivation.
Your Underlying Motivation becomes visible in the moments that move you most — when something important improves because of the work you do.
Sometimes that energy comes from excitement.
Other times it comes from noticing something that could work better and feeling drawn to improve it.
In this step, you’ll explore:
• The kinds of outcomes that matter most to you
• The problems you feel drawn to improve
• The deeper motivations behind those instincts
• The core values that guide how you act
By the end, you’ll uncover a short Underlying Motivation Theme — a simple phrase that captures the deeper motivation behind the contribution you care about making.
This isn’t a polished purpose statement.
It’s simply the underlying reason you feel compelled to do the work you do.
You’ll use this insight in the next steps to clarify:
• Who benefits most from your contribution
• How you naturally create value
• Where your strengths and purpose intersect
Estimated time: 10-15 minutes
Where your work becomes real — and right for now
There’s a moment in any kind of growth where clarity alone isn’t enough.
You may understand your strengths.
You may even feel connected to a deeper motivation behind your work.
But the real question becomes:
How does that actually show up — in your work today?
This step helps you translate insight into something more tangible.
Not a job title.
Not a list of services.
Not a future vision.
But a grounded understanding of:
• what feels meaningful to contribute right now
• where your energy is best spent
• what no longer fits — even if it once did
• how your work creates value in a way that feels aligned and sustainable
This step often brings a different kind of clarity.
Less about “what could I do?”
More about “this is how my work wants to show up.”
Why this matters
Many professionals feel stuck not because they lack insight — but because they haven’t translated that insight into present-tense direction.
Without that translation, it’s easy to:
• overextend into work that drains you
• stay in roles that no longer fit
• or keep circling around ideas without moving forward
This step helps you narrow your focus in a way that feels both clear and true.
What you’ll walk away with
A structured output that captures:
• the core ways your work creates meaning right now
• the environments and situations where you’re most aligned
• the boundaries that protect your energy and focus
• a clear summary of how your motivation is expressed in your work today
You can use this immediately to guide decisions, refine your direction, and move forward with more confidence.
Where your work connects — and moves forward
Once you’re clear on how your work wants to show up, a new question naturally follows:
Where does this actually land?
Not just in theory — but in real situations, with real people.
This step helps you identify the audience around your work in a more complete way.
Not only:
• who benefits from what you do
But also:
• who you need to work with or through
• who enables progress
• where your work actually takes shape
Because meaningful work doesn’t happen in isolation.
It moves through people, relationships, and environments.
And when those are aligned, everything becomes more effective — and often, easier.
Why this matters
Many people think about “audience” as a static group.
But in reality, your work exists within a dynamic ecosystem.
Without clarity here, it’s easy to:
• focus on the wrong people
• overlook key collaborators or decision-makers
• or feel stuck, even when your direction is clear
This step helps you see the full picture — so your work can move forward with more precision.
What you’ll walk away with
A structured output that captures:
• who directly benefits from your work
• who enables or supports it
• where these interactions naturally happen
• how your work creates change within this ecosystem
You can use this immediately to guide conversations, opportunities, and where you focus your energy.
Where your effort turns into real impact
Up to this point, you’ve built a strong foundation:
You understand how you naturally think and contribute.
You’ve clarified what drives your work.
You’ve defined how that work shows up now — and where it connects.
Now we focus on something different:
What actually creates results.
Because not everything you do carries equal weight.
Some of your strengths create momentum quickly.
Others are helpful — but don’t move things forward in the same way.
This step helps you identify where your effort multiplies.
Why this matters
Many professionals try to improve by doing more.
More effort.
More skills.
More output.
But real progress doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from understanding:
where your existing strengths create the greatest impact — and leaning into those.
Without that clarity, it’s easy to:
• spread your energy too thin
• undervalue what comes naturally to you
• or work harder than you need to for the same results
What you’ll walk away with
A structured output that captures:
• the traits that create the most impact in your work
• the elements of your personal style that strengthen your effectiveness
• the situations and audiences where your strengths gain the most traction
• a clear explanation of how your impact actually happens
This becomes a practical guide for where to focus — and where not to.
Where everything comes together — and becomes usable
You’ve done the deeper work.
You’ve looked closely at how you think and contribute.
You’ve clarified what drives your work.
You’ve grounded how that work shows up now.
You’ve identified where it connects — and where it creates the most impact.
Now, we bring it all together.
What this step is really about
This isn’t about creating a personal brand statement.
It’s about something more practical:
Being able to clearly express how you create value — in a way that feels true, grounded, and usable.
Because when that’s clear:
• decisions become easier
• conversations become more natural
• opportunities become more visible
• and your work starts to align more consistently with who you are
Why this matters
Most professionals don’t struggle because they lack ability.
They struggle because they can’t clearly articulate — even to themselves — how their work actually creates impact.
So they default to:
• generic descriptions
• roles instead of contribution
• or language that doesn’t quite feel like them
This step changes that.
What you’ll walk away with
Your Personal Leverage Profile — a clear articulation of:
• how you create value
• where your strengths create the most impact
• how your work shows up in the real world
• language you can actually use — in conversations, decisions, and direction
This is not something you memorize.
It’s something you return to — and refine — over time.
Personal Branding
Make your contribution visible in ways that feel natural and credible. Build reputation anchors, design Evidence Echoes™, and create a sustainable rhythm for expressing your value.
5 AI skillsIs Your Value Visible?
You’re already creating value.
The question is:
Who sees it — and how clearly?
Most people don’t struggle with contribution.
They struggle with visibility.
Their work:
stays within meetings
lives inside projects
is only seen by a small circle
This step helps you see the gap between:
the value you create
and how visible that value actually is
Because your reputation is shaped by what others can see — not everything you do.
Decide What You’re Known For
If you don’t define how you want to be known,
it gets defined for you.
Often unintentionally.
People associate you with:
what they see most often
what they experience repeatedly
what stands out — not everything you do
This step helps you take control of that.
You’ll define a small number of reputation anchors —
clear, grounded ways you want to be known based on how you actually create value.
Not broad labels.
Not vague traits.
But specific signals that others can recognize and remember.
Make Your Value Visible
Your value doesn’t need to be promoted.
It needs to be seen.
Most people assume visibility requires:
more effort
more content
more exposure
It doesn’t.
It requires intentional expression of the work you’re already doing.
This step helps you do exactly that.
You’ll design a small set of Evidence Echoes™ —
specific ways your value becomes visible through:
conversations
work
interactions
and, if relevant, external platforms
Not more work.
Just more visible work.
Make It Sustainable
The goal isn’t to be more visible once.
It’s to be visible — consistently.
Most people start strong:
they share something
they try something new
they experiment
And then it fades.
Not because they lack value —
but because they lack a repeatable rhythm.
This step helps you change that.
You’ll define:
how often you want to express your value
where it fits into your existing work
how to keep it simple and sustainable
Because presence isn’t built through effort.
It’s built through consistency over time.
Let It Be Seen
For most people, the challenge isn’t value.
It’s visibility.
And not because they don’t want to be seen —
but because something holds them back:
“This might feel like self-promotion”
“I’m not sure this is worth sharing”
“This isn’t really my style”
So they hold back.
And their work stays smaller than it needs to be.
This step helps you shift that — in a way that still feels like you.
You’ll:
identify what’s creating hesitation
ground yourself in the value you already create
reframe expression as visibility — not promotion
take a small, aligned step forward
Because your work doesn’t need to change.
It just needs to be seen.
Career Alignment
Improve how you operate within your current role. Clarify its real demands, identify alignment and friction, and focus your effort where your contribution matters most.
5 AI skillsStep 1: See Your Role Clearly
Before you can align your work to your strengths…
you need a clear picture of the role you’re actually operating in.
Not the job description.
Not what you think is expected.
But the reality of:
what you’re accountable for
how success is measured
who depends on you
where pressure comes from
what matters most in your organization right now
Most people move through their role on assumption.
This step helps you replace assumption with clarity.
Because alignment doesn’t start with changing your role.
It starts with seeing it accurately.
Step 2: Where You’re Aligned — and Where You’re Not
Once your role is clear, a more important question emerges:
How well does your role actually fit how you work best?
Most people never stop to examine this directly.
They adapt.
They push through.
They assume friction is just part of the job.
But not all friction is necessary.
Some of it comes from misalignment —
between how you naturally operate and how your work is structured.
This step helps you see that clearly.
You’ll map your HUMAN™ Advantage to your role and identify:
where you are already operating at your best
where your strengths are underused
where friction is limiting your effectiveness
This is where real insight begins.
Step 3: Work Better — Not More
Once you see where you’re aligned — and where you’re not —
the next question is simple:
What needs to change?
Not your role.
Not your workload.
But how you operate within it.
Most people respond to misalignment by pushing harder.
This step takes a different approach.
You’ll identify how to:
lean into the parts of your role where you’re strongest
adjust how you handle areas that create friction
make small, practical shifts that improve how your work gets done
This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about working in a way that better reflects how you naturally create value.
Step 4: Focus Where You Create the Most Value
By this point:
You’ve clarified your role.
You’ve examined how well it aligns with how you work best.
You’ve identified ways to improve how you operate within it.
Now comes the most important question:
Where does your work actually matter most?
Not all work carries equal value.
Some responsibilities drive meaningful outcomes.
Others keep things moving.
This step helps you make that distinction clearly.
You’ll identify:
where you create the most impact
how your work connects to what matters most in your organization
where your time and energy should be more intentionally focused
This is where clarity turns into prioritization.
Step 5: Turn Insight Into Action
Clarity is powerful — but only if it changes how you work.
By this point, you’ve:
clarified your role
aligned it to how you naturally operate
identified where you create the most value
Now the question becomes:
What will you actually do differently?
This final step helps you translate everything you’ve uncovered into a small, focused set of shifts you can apply immediately.
Not a long list.
Not a complete overhaul.
Just a few meaningful changes in how you:
prioritize your time
approach your work
operate day-to-day
Because that’s where real impact comes from.
Career Mapping
Shape the direction of your work intentionally. Define your next level of contribution, the capabilities it requires, and the role and opportunity choices that will help you get there.
5 AI skillsBefore you can plan what comes next,
you need clarity on something more fundamental:
What kind of work are you actually built for?
Not a job title.
Not a role someone else defines.
But the underlying pattern of:
the problems you’re drawn to
the environments where you do your best work
the kind of impact you’re motivated to create
You clarified the foundations of these in your Personal Operating Profile and your HUMAN™ Advantage. Now we will add direction to those foundations.
Most people skip this.
They move from role to role based on opportunity,
without ever defining the direction behind their decisions.
This step helps you change that.
It grounds your future direction in how you naturally operate —
so your next moves are intentional, not reactive.
Bring Your Direction to Life
In Step 1, you defined the direction of your work.
Now it’s time to make that direction real.
It’s one thing to know:
the problems you’re drawn to
the environments where you thrive
the impact you want to create
It’s another to ask:
What does that actually look like in practice?
This step helps you answer that.
You’ll define:
how you would operate at your next level
the types of work you would focus on
the challenges you would be trusted to handle
the impact you would create
This is where direction becomes something you can see — and move toward.
Build the Path Forward
Once you can see your next level clearly,
a practical question emerges:
What will it take to get there?
Not in theory.
In real terms.
This step helps you answer that.
You’ll identify:
the capabilities required for your next level of contribution
where you’re already strong
where you need to build, expand, or gain experience
the types of opportunities that will help you get there
This is where your trajectory becomes actionable.
Not a distant idea —
but a path you can begin building now.
Use Your Role — Don’t Drift Through It
Roles shape your trajectory — whether you choose them intentionally or not.
Most people move from role to role based on opportunity, timing, or circumstance.
But if you’re clear on:
where you’re heading
what you need to build
Then your roles can become something else:
A deliberate path forward.
This step helps you define:
how your current role can support your growth
where it falls short
what to intentionally focus on while you’re in it
what your next role should provide
This isn’t about rushing to the next move.
It’s about using each role — fully and intentionally — as a step forward.
Make Decisions That Move You Forward
Clarity is only as powerful as the decisions it shapes.
By this point, you’ve:
defined the direction of your work
clarified your next level of contribution
identified what you need to build
outlined how your roles should support that growth
Now the question becomes:
How do you make decisions that stay aligned with all of that?
Because without a clear framework, it’s easy to drift:
toward what’s urgent
toward what’s available
toward what seems like the obvious next step
This final step gives you something different.
A way to evaluate:
opportunities
roles
priorities
So that each decision moves you forward — not just sideways.

Connected positioning, evidence, and publishing
Make positioning tangible through a coordinated narrative, selected experience evidence, a tailored resume, and a personal website. The workflow demonstrates how one strategy can guide several connected communication assets.
4 AI skillsResearch the opportunity and identify the audience’s central need. Develop one clear positioning argument, select the strongest evidence, and surface material gaps before creating the application content. The person applying validates the story before production begins.
Use an Experience Examples database to find relevant projects, responsibilities, outcomes, and source materials. Preserve attribution and distinguish individual ownership from team contributions. Selected examples become the proof behind the resume and companion website.
Tailor emphasis to the approved positioning while maintaining a consistent factual career narrative. Produce an editable resume and a readable PDF in the established visual format, with verified links and reviewed page layouts. Historical application versions are preserved.
Build a role-specific companion website that adds depth to the resume: positioning, selected case stories, project visuals, capabilities, and relevant work samples. The website and resume share the same argument and evidence, giving a hiring team a coherent view of the person’s contribution.
Short, focused reflections for the situations that shape everyday work and life: difficult conversations, delegation, decisions, focus, confidence, and personal direction.
25 AI skillsWhen you know what you want to do, but still aren’t doing it...
You’ve outlined the goal.
You’ve cleared your calendar.
You’ve promised yourself this time will be different.
But instead of making progress, you’re stuck in a loop:
→ overthinking
→ procrastinating
→ or endlessly “researching” your next move.
Sound familiar?
That’s not laziness — that’s resistance.
And it always has a reason.
Usually one that’s hiding just beneath the surface.

This AI skill will guide you to:

Most people begin the day reacting — checking messages, responding to requests, and moving quickly into whatever appears most urgent.
But the brain has a powerful filtering system. What you focus on early in the day influences what your mind notices, connects, and prioritizes for the rest of the day.
A few minutes of intentional reflection can dramatically change how you see opportunities, patterns, and next steps.
This Coaching Moment guides you through a simple five-minute morning practice designed to help you begin the day with greater clarity and strategic awareness.
End your day by learning from it.
Many people move from one day to the next without pausing to notice what the day revealed.
Ideas appear. Signals emerge. Patterns begin to form.
But without reflection, most of those insights fade before they can inform better decisions.
High performers improve not simply because they take action — but because they analyze how they think, what they notice, and what the day is teaching them.
This Coaching Moment introduces a simple evening practice that helps you capture insight before it disappears.
Apply focused reflection to priorities, opportunities, contribution, and professional expression. These standalone skills complement the longer tracks.
